One person, writing every line.
Peace Digital Systems is a small web studio in Grande Prairie, Alberta. Small as in: it is me.
Hello — I'm Branden.
I design and code websites for businesses around the Peace Region and across Alberta. When you hire me, you are not handed to an account manager and your project is not passed to a contractor you never meet. The person on the call is the person writing the code.
I started Peace Digital Systems because too many local businesses are paying monthly for a website they do not own, cannot edit, and could not take with them if they wanted to. That seemed like a thing worth fixing.
This is a new studio and I am not going to dress it up as something else. What that means for you in practice: you get direct access, a fixed price, and my full attention — because I am not juggling forty accounts.
Four things I actually believe.
Templates are a shortcut you pay for later
A page builder gets a site up quickly and then charges you in slow loads, plugin conflicts and pages you cannot really change. Hand-written code costs more up front and less every month after.
You should own what you paid for
When the site launches it is yours — the code, the domain, the content. No platform licence, no hostage situation if you decide to work with somebody else.
A quote should be a number, not a meter
You get a fixed price in writing before the work starts. If the scope genuinely changes, we talk about it first. No surprise invoices.
Say the true thing
No invented testimonials, no borrowed statistics, no pretending to be a bigger shop than I am. If something is outside what I can do well, I will tell you rather than take the work.
Want to talk it through?
A call costs nothing and there is no pitch at the end of it. Tell me about the business and I will tell you honestly what I think would help.
